LaserLock also provided a network version option.
 In the stand-alone version, the LaserLock system automatically searches all the local CD drives to find the Original CD.
In the network version, the LaserLock system searches all the local CD drives and if it does not find the original CD, it also searches all the network drives that have been mapped to a local Drive Letter (ex. N:)
